
Armada FC Launches New 'Match Interactive' Mobile App

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Jacksonville Armada FC launched on Thursday the club's first mobile app, which is now available for smartphones and mobile devices.
The club will also be providing all fans with free Wi-Fi access at all of their home matches at Community First Park at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville for the 2016 North American Soccer League season.
"We're delighted not only to launch our new Armada FC club app but also to provide our supporters with free access to Wi-Fi for their smartphones and tablets inside Community First Park during Armada FC home matches," Armada FC president, Steve Livingstone, said. "This will allow us to introduce and utilize a number of interactive in-game elements featured on the app including an opportunity for our fans to vote for their Farah & Farah Man of Match in real time."
The new Armada FC app features information on the club from upcoming matches to team rosters, schedules, standings, ticket information, weather forecasts, video and news and social media links. The app will be also be available for interactive supporter use on home matchdays at Community First Park, where fans will be able to log their vote for the Farah & Farah Man of the Match live during the game.
A special Matchday Live section of the Armada FC App will also provide team line-ups approximately 60 minutes prior to kick off on matchdays as well as up-to-date match stats and updates, matchday contests and promotions, links to live listening and viewing and access to special matchday offers available at the team merchandise store.
Powered by leading app designer ALOOMPA and supported by the Armada's television partner CW17, the new Armada FC App will provide supporters who download the app with instant and up-to-date information on their iOS and Android devices. It will also provide a convenient way for fans to purchase tickets and parking through their smartphones or tablets including access to the Armada's 3D seating map.
The new app and Wi-Fi access will be available for fans to enjoy on a limited and test basis during the Armada's remaining two preseason home matches against Orlando City SC this Saturday, Feb. 13 at 6 p.m. and against the New York Red Bulls on Saturday, Feb. 27 at 6 p.m.
The Armada's first home match of the 2016 regular NASL season will be against Miami FC on Friday, April 15 at 7 p.m.
