
Armada Exercise Contract Options on Five Players

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Jacksonville Armada FC have started to prepare for the 2017 North American Soccer League season by announcing today that the team has exercised the contract options for Tyler Ruthven, Mechack Jérî-me, Matt Bahner, Charles Eloundou and Sean Lewis. These five players will return to the Armada for the 2017 season.
The 2017 contract options for Pekka Lagerblom, Gary Lewis, Beto Navarro, Patrick Otte, and Alex Dixon were not exercised.
The contracts of Lucas Scaglia and Anthony Wallace are both up and they will not return for the 2017 season.
Zach Steinberger and Karl Ouimette have returned to their parent clubs Houston Dynamo (Steinberger) and New York Red Bulls (Ouimette) following the end of their loan period with the club.
The moves brings Jacksonville's current roster to 14 players. The Armada are expected to make more roster announcements in the coming weeks as Technical Director Nathan Walter and Head Coach Mark Lowry continue to build the roster for the club's 2017 season.
