Arkansas Top Mens Tennis Player Joins St. Louis Aces As Official Hitting Partner

St. Louis Aces News Release
SAINT LOUIS, MO. May 26, 2009- The University of Arkansas's Blake Strode will be the official hitting partner of the St. Louis Aces at Dwight Davis tennis center this July. The recent graduate returned from Texas A & M's George P. Mitchell Tennis Center where he lost to Ole Miss's Devin Britton on Sunday in the NCAA semifinal match. This makes Strode the 3rd Razorback to ever reach the NCAA semifinal round. The St. Louisan ends his collegiate career as a 3-time All SEC honoree, 3- time ESPN The Magazine All District honoree, and was chosen out of 8 regional ITA Arthur Ash winners as the National ITA-Arthur Ashe Award winner for Leadership and Sportsmanship which he will be honored for at the US Open in August.
Along with hitting with the St. Louis Aces this summer, he will also begin his professional tennis career while deferring his enrollment to Harvard Law School. Strode was born in St. Louis and attended Pattonville high school in Maryland Heights, MO. Strode played in numerous tennis tournaments at Dwight Davis tennis center as a child.

All matches played at Dwight Davis Tennis Center, 5620 Grand Drive, Forest Park, St. Louis, MO. Gates open at 5:30pm and matches start at 7:00pm.
Season tickets, gift certificates and group sales are currently available. Individual tickets for matches go on sale June 1 at 8:00am CST.
