Arkansas Pine Bluff Invades the Storm

The Sioux Falls Storm of the Indoor Football League (IFL) and Head Coach Kurtiss Riggs are pleased to announce the signing of three Arkansas Pine Bluff Golden Lions.

John Keith (5'11" 205lbs) was a 3 year starter at Arkansas Pine Bluff at strong safety. The All SWAC standout ended his career as a Golden Lion with 240 tackles. Keith was also a semi-finalist for the prestigious Drady Award.

Bruce Peters (5'11" 185lbs) was voted the SWAC Newcomer of the Year, 1st Team All SWAC and was in the top ten percent in the nation in punt returns in 2007. The wide receiver was also named Pre-Season All-American in 2008. The Arkansas Pine Bluff alum was also a JUCO All American at Compton Community College where he was named Conference Player of the Year in 2006 with 69 receptions for 1283 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Stewart Franks (6'3" 220lbs.) was named 1st Team All SWAC his senior year at Arkansas Pine Bluff in 2007. The free safety led the SWAC in interceptions in 2006. Steward spent 2008 in and out of NFL camps.
