Arenabowl XXIV Festivities Schedule Announced

PHOENIX, ARI - The Jacksonville Sharks, in conjunction with the Arena Football League, have announced an event schedule for ArenaBowl XXIV week in Phoenix, Arizona. The events will be centered around the Hyatt Regency Phoenix, the official ArenaBowl XXIV hotel located in downtown Phoenix.

Festivities open to the public will begin Thursday, August 11, 2011 with the 2011 AFL Awards Reception & Presentation. The banquet will open to fans at 7:30pm MST and conclude at 10:00pm. This formal banquet will be include dinner and attendees are asked to dress accordingly. Fans are required to purchase tickets prior to the event to guarantee admission.

The festivities of ArenaBowl XXIV begin at 3:30pm MST at the US Airways Center located two blocks south of the Hyatt Regency with ArenaBowl XXIV Fan Fest. The Fan Fest is free to the public and will continue until kickoff.

The Commissioner's Tailgate Party will begin one-hour prior to kickoff at 4:30pm MST in the Club Annexus in the Arena. Fans are required to purchase tickets prior to the event to guarantee admission.

The ArenaBowl XXIV Championship game featuring the Jacksonville Sharks and Arizona Rattlers will begin at 5:30pm MST (8:30pm EDT) with live coverage on the NFL Network. Paul Burmeister will give the play-by-play with Kurt Warner along side for analysis. Ari Wolf and Anthony Herron will be field-side for additional correspondence.

Fans traveling to the ArenaBowl are encouraged to stay at the Hyatt Regency Phoenix.
