Florida Seals News Release
For years Anthony Squitieri Plumbing Services has been stopping leaks in central Florida, and now will be helping stop fans from walking in front of others at Orlando Seals hockey games.
The longtime hockey fan will provide STOP signs that ushers will use at Seals games to hold fans from moving to their seats, while the puck is in play. Ushers will allow fans to their seats, once play has stopped. It seems a natural fit for the outgoing Squitieri.
"In the past people have been able to walk past the ushers, and let's face it, they aren't going to gang tackle them. So this will be neat to have people hold up the sign, and then when there's a face-off the usher can turn the sign around and there's our plumber guy on the sign," Squitieri said.
In addition to the fan stop signs, Anthony Squitieri Plumbing Services is teaming with Bay Technology to provide Seals Thundersticks which will be given out at the Seals first home game.
"He's providing us with a couple of new elements, that will make a Seals game a more enjoyable experience for everyone," Seals general manager Joe Fellini said. "Everyone knows him as âSquit' and everyone knows he loves to have a good time at Seals games."
For his part, Squitieri is looking forward to getting even more involved with Orlando's only reigning championship team, in the Seals' second season. "I like being a sponsor and I would urge anybody who can, to jump on board," he said. "Once you get set up, you'll never give it up."
Season tickets for the defending President Cup champion Orlando Seals are now on sale. For further information, contact the Seals at (407) 447-PUCK (7825).
