
Another Defensive Leader Re-Signs with Storm for 2007

Sioux Falls Storm News Release
The Sioux Falls Storm of United Indoor Football (UIF) is pleased to announce that defensive back Andre Fields has re-signed for the 2007 season. Fields will be playing in his fifth season for the Storm and has consistently been in the line-up as he has started 68 of 69 games dating back to 2003.
Fields was a key component to the Storm's defense in 2006 as the Storm only allowed 31 passing touchdowns and set numerous UIF records. Fields finished second on the team in interceptions in 2006 with four and fourth on the team in tackles with 66. Fields also led the team in pass breakups with 18. In 2005, Fields was named to the All-UIF First Team as he accounted for 73 tackles and three interceptions. Fields was also a part of 19 pass breakups, which led the team in 2005.
The University of South Dakota alum was named All-NIFL First Team in 2004 when he accumulated 42.5 tackles and three interceptions. Fields currently sits fourth in team history in career interceptions with 11.
Storm President Colin Steen says, "Andre is a lock down cornerback and really understands the indoor game and our complex defensive scheme. We expect him to start again for us this upcoming season and continue to add to his legacy as a Storm player."
