Amarillo, TX 6/11/09 - If you could not get enough of Amarillo Dusters quarterback Julian Reese this past Saturday night, you don't have to wait long for the second coming. Julian Reese II was born last night at 11:05pm at 20 inches long, 8 pounds, 2 ounces.
"I've been up all night, and I'm still wide awake," expressed Dusters quarterback Julian Reese. "I'm so happy for my family. This is truly one of the most enjoyable moments of my life." Julian also said he will be ready to start at quarterback this weekend.
Both Mrs. Reese and Julian Reese II are recovering well and hope to be present at this Saturday's game.
The game festivities begin at 6pm this Saturday, June 13th, as the first 250 fans through the doors will receive a crisp, real, $1 dollar bill courtesy of the Amarillo Dusters. Also, Peoples Federal Credit Union will be offering one lucky fan a chance to win cold, hard cash in the "money machine" at halftime. Fans may sign up for the "money machine" activity at the PFCU table. And lastly, sodas, popcorn, and hot dogs are just $1 dollar all night long!
Amarillo (2-8) will take on the Bossier-Shreveport Battle Wings on Saturday, June 13 at the Amarillo Civic Center. Purchase your show tickets by contacting the Dusters at 806-350-PASS.
