River City Rascals News Release
Education Day returns to TR Hughes Ballpark on Friday, May 6th for a River City Rascals pre-season exhibition game. The Rascals invite you, your teachers, students and parents to participate in this annual Education Day event with an early 11:05 AM start time.
If you're tired of boring field trips, join students from St. Charles, St. Louis, Lincoln and Warren Counties for this unique opportunity to learn outside the classroom. Education Day provides students in elementary, middle and high school with exciting and fun-filled learning experience at the ballpark. Numerous interactive and educational exhibits will be on the concourse to further enhance this experience. Some highlights from past seasons were the Reptile Guy, Museum of Transportation, Dare/O'Fallon Police Department, St. Charles County Parks and Recreation, and the Magic House.
All student and chaperone tickets will be discounted for this game to only $6.00! An optional $4.00 lunch including a hotdog, chips and drink will be available while you enjoy the game. Please note that lunch requests must be made at the time of the ticket order and will not be available on the game day. No outside food or beverage is permitted in the ballpark, but concession stands will be open for those that do not wish to purchase a lunch. Gates will open at 10:05 AM as the River City Rascals take on the Gateway Grizzlies in this year's first match up of the season.
The River City Rascals strive to make Education Day an event that all school groups can enjoy. Due to the popularity of this game, spaces for the 2016 Education Day are filling up fast! Orders will be taken on a first come first come first serve basis, so call today. Education Day tickets can be reserved by calling a Rascals group sales representative at (636)240-2287.
