Amerks Raise Over $9,000 in Camo Jersey Auction

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Americans announced today that the team raised $9,042 in total proceeds for Foodlink in its camouflage jersey auction. The auction was conducted during the Amerks' second-to-last regular season home game against the Syracuse Crunch on April 11th at The Blue Cross Arena. The Amerks donned the special jerseys in honor of the United States military.

The jerseys of Mike Weber and Marek Zagrapan were among the most popular, as each jersey was auctioned off for substantial amounts. Weber's jersey flew off the table with an $834.00 purchase, while Zagrapan's jersey was second to go with a $700.00 buy.
