Amerks Moose Has Busy Weekend Ahead

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Americans' mascot, The Moose, has a busy weekend ahead of him as the Amerks' furry friend kicks off his offseason tour to spend the next few days in the Rochester community. The weekend begins on Friday, May 15th at Rochester's annual Lilac Festival for Sports Day. The Moose will be on hand to greet families and sign autographs at the Main Hill of the festival from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.

The Moose wraps up his weekend on Sunday, May 16th as he and his mascot friends will support the annual Juvenile Diabetes Walk for a Cure. This year, the event is being at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) Sunday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. The Moose will be there to encourage and high-five those who participate in the walk and will be available for autographs and photos throughout the event.
