Amerks Launch Facebook Page

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Americans announced today that the team has launched an Amerks Facebook page in an effort to better connect with the fans in the Rochester community.
The social network allows fans the opportunity to learn more about the team and get up-to-date information on team news, events, community appearances, ticket specials and the chance to meet your favorite Amerks players.
The page features an archive of game photos from the 2007-08 season, daily press releases and a social forum where fans can interact with each other. The page also provides an additional avenue of communication as fans are encouraged to contact the Amerks with questions and concerns related to the team.
Fans who wish to become a "friend" on the Amerks Facebook page can follow the link located on the homepage of Amerks.com.
Facebook is a social utility that connects people with friends and others who work, study and live around them. People use Facebook to keep up with friends, upload an unlimited number of photos, share links and videos and learn more about the people they meet.
All that's needed to join Facebook is a valid e-mail address. To connect with co-workers or classmates, use any active e-mail address to register. Once you register, join a regional network to connect with the people in your area. Facebook is made up of many networks, each based around a company, region, or school.
