Amerks Individual Game Tickets for the 2013-14 Season Go on Sale

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Americans announced today that individual game tickets for the Amerks 2013-14 regular season will go on sale Saturday, Sept. 21 at 10:00 a.m. In addition, fans can join Amerks legend Jody Gage in a free open skate that day at The Blue Cross Arena from 11:00 a.m. to noon.

This season, all lower bowl (100 level) tickets can be purchased for $23, or $24 when purchased day of game at The Blue Cross Arena Box Office. Premium seating in the upper bowl (200 level), which includes all sections on the sides of the ice surface, is available for $21 per ticket, or $22 when purchased day of game at the Box Office. Upper level end and balcony seats can be purchased for $19 per game, or $20 when purchased day of game at the Box Office.

Individual game tickets for games played at The Blue Cross Arena can be purchased at The Blue Cross Arena Box Office, online at www.amerks.com or by phone by calling Ticketmaster at 1-800-745-3000. The Amerks are also holding a free Open Skate with Hall of Famer Jody Gage from 11:00 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Sept. 21, letting fans "break the ice" and be the first to skate on the ice at The Blue Cross Arena prior to the start of the 2013-14 season. Fans will also have the opportunity to select their seats for the season and get a sneak peak of the new Amerks Team Store.

Tickets for the Frozen Frontier presented by Rochester Area Honda Dealers, which will feature the Amerks hosting the Lake Erie Monsters at Frontier Field on Friday, Dec. 13 in the Amerks' first-ever outdoor game, will also go on sale Saturday, Sept. 21 at the Frontier Field Box Office or at Tickets.com. Tickets will NOT be available for purchase at The Blue Cross Arena. Following Sept. 21, tickets for all Frozen Frontier events will also be sold at area Wegmans locations and online at Tickets.com.

Tickets for all Frozen Frontier events will be split into three different price levels: 200 level, 100 level and Limited View. Ticket prices for the Amerks game are as follows: $15 (Limited View), $25 (100 level) and $35 (200 level). For more information, visit www.frozenfrontier2013.com.

Rochester's home schedule kicks off at 7:05 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 4 when the team hosts the defending Calder Cup champion Grand Rapids Griffins at The Blue Cross Arena. The Opening Night festivities include the chance for fans to arrive early and meet some of their favorite Amerks players and Alumni, as well as the return of the Friday Happy Hour featuring live music from Big Eyed Phish and $2.00 drafts in the Upper Atrium Bar from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Other home games of note at The Blue Cross Arena include the first-ever visit from the Utica Comets on Friday, Oct. 11; a Veterans Day matinee against Lake Erie on Monday, Nov. 11 at 3:05 p.m.; another date with the Monsters the day after Thanksgiving (Friday, Nov. 29), the return of the Chicago Wolves to Rochester (Wednesday, Jan. 29); and the renewal of the AHL's oldest rivalry when the Hershey Bears come to Rochester on Friday, Feb. 7. The home schedule is also dotted with visits from some more unfamiliar opponents, including the Rockford IceHogs (Friday, Jan. 31); the first-ever visit from the Iowa Wild (Wednesday, Feb. 19); and Milwaukee Admirals (Wednesday, March 26). The regular season home finale is slated for Friday, Apr. 18 against the Syracuse Crunch.

The Amerks are also scheduled to play a home game at First Niagara Center in Buffalo on Saturday, Feb. 8 against Grand Rapids. Ticket information for this game will be available at a later date.
