
Amerks Announce Scheduling Change for Late-October Road Game

(Rochester, NY)... Rochester Americans Vice President of Business Operations Rob Kopacz announced today a scheduling change for the 2011-12 American Hockey League season. Rochester's road game originally scheduled for Wednesday, October 26 against the Hamilton Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. has been rescheduled for Thursday, October 27 at Copps Coliseum. Game time remains the same at 7:30 p.m.
The Amerks will open their 56th season, and 30th as the AHL affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres, on Saturday, October 8 with a 7:00 p.m. tilt with the Hamilton Bulldogs. Rochester's Home Opener is slated for Thursday, October 13 at 7:05 p.m. against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
Amerks full season tickets in any seat location at The Blue Cross Arena are available for just $10 per game, giving fans the opportunity to watch all 38 Amerks home games from the same seat for a total of $380. The Amerks are also offering half-season packages at a rate of $12 per ticket ($228 total), while 10-packs can be purchased at $14 per seat ($140 total).
