Allen Texas- The Allen Americans of the Central Hockey League signed 21 year old Defenseman Andrew Randazzo to a contract for the upcoming season.

The 5'9, 218 pound native of Hamilton Ontario spent the last three seasons playing for the Drummondville Voltigeurs of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. In those three seasons he totaled (89) points, 23 goals and 66 assists.

"I'm very excited about joining the Allen Americans," said Randazzo. "I'm looking forward to coming to Texas and meeting my new teammates."

Randazzo will join new teammates Mike Berube, Steve Kaunisto, and Spencer Edwards at Texas Stars training camp in Austin on September 26th.

"Andrew is a smart offensive player that competes very hard," said Head Coach and GM Dwight Mullins." Getting some ice time in Texas later this month will be good experience for him."
