American Defenders of New Hampshire Kick Off Five Game Home Stand

(NASHUA, N.H., June 10, 2009) Come have a ball with the American Defenders of New Hampshire for their upcoming five game homestand starting on Wednesday, June 10th at 6:35pm. The Defenders will take on the Brockton Rox Wednesday and Thursday.

The first 500 fans will receive Dog Tags on Wednesday and every Thursday will be Thirsty Thursday in Historic Holman Stadium.

Two former Red Sox players and current Can Am Managers will face off beginning on Friday. Former Red Sox Catcher, Rich Gedman, and his Worcester Tornadoes will battle Brian Daubach and the Defenders for three games beginning on Friday night. Every CanAm game played at the stadium on Friday's will see postgame fireworks sponsored by Atlas Fireworks.

On Saturday, June 13, the Defenders will celebrate Father's Day beginning at 5:45p. Enjoy the ballpark and bring your child to Saturday's game to play catch in the outfield. Lil' Iguana will also be on hand for a pregame safety show beginning at 6:10pm and local rockband, the Slakas, will perform on our deck.

Come celebrate Flag Day with the Defenders on Sunday, June 14th. Gates open at 4:00pm and the first 500 fans will receive hand held flags to commemorate the occasion.

Monday through Saturdays games begin at 6:35pm with gates opening one hour prior to gametime. Sunday games kickoff at 5:05pm with gates opening at 4:00pm.
