Lincoln scored ten runs in the final four innings to erase a Sioux Falls lead and dispose of the Canaries, 11-7. Sioux Falls got four in the second on a two-run home run from LF Chad Hermansen and two RBI singles; the Saltdogs responded with one in the third, and then exploded for four in the sixth, two in the seventh, three in the eighth and another in the ninth. Lincoln pounded out 17 hits, led by RF Bryan Warner and 1B Pichi Balet, both of whom went 4-for-5, while Hermansen finished the day 4-for-5 for Sioux Falls.

St. Joe used a four-run eighth inning and took advantage of five Shreveport errors to register a come-from-behind victory over the Sports, 10-7. Five different Blacksnakes had two hits, including LF Terrell Merriman, who knocked a two-run single in the fifth, and SS Jimmy Mojica, who scored three runs. DH Chad Gambill had two hits for Shreveport, a two-run double in the third and an RBI single in the sixth, while CF Coby Smith also went 2-for-4.

St. Paul 11, Sioux City 2

St. Paul built an early lead and coasted to an 11-2 rout of Sioux City. The Saints scored five runs in the second inning on an RBI single from CF Rob Fischer and back-to-back two-run singles from SS Josh Renick and 2B Patrick Scalabrini. It was more than enough for St. Paul starter Charlie Ruud, who got his second win of the season by giving up two runs on eight hits in six innings of work, striking out seven. The Explorers' only runs came in the fourth, on an RBI single by SS J.J. Burress and a bases-loaded walk to CF Ryan Ruiz.

An eight-run ninth blew a close game wide open and propelled Pensacola to a 14-5 victory over Fort Worth, earning the Pelicans the split of the four-game series. The Cats had held a 5-4 lead until the seventh, when Pensacola scored two runs to take the lead for good. 3B Trino Aguilar went 3-for-5 with three RBI for the Pelicans, while C Bud Woodruff was 3-for-5 with a home run in his second game for Pensacola. CF Matt Spencer and C Dustin Smith both had three hits for Fort Worth.
