DH Kip Harkrider went 3-for-4 in the leadoff spot and scored three times for Fort Worth in the come-from-behind win. After trailing 9-3 following the third inning, the Cats rallied back with a run in the sixth and five more in the seventh to tie the game. They scored again in the eighth which would prove to be the difference. Cats LF Tony Mota was 2-for-4 with two runs scored and 3B Terence Green drove in four runs in a 2-for-5 effort at the plate. Saltdogs LF Jose Torres was 2-for-5 with four RBIs to lead Lincoln, one of three hitters to record multi-hit games in the loss.

St. Paul 7, Sioux City 2

St. Paul starting pitcher Charlie Ruud was dominant through seven innings, only allowing one hit while striking out five to record his first win of the season. Saints RF Brian Sprout continued his hot-hitting, going 2-for-2, including his first home run of the season. He has now hit safely in six for his last six at the plate. The Saints used four-straight singles in the top of the first to pull ahead 2-0. Sprout's two-run homer in the bottom of the third proved too much for Sioux City to overcome as St. Paul cruised from there. Explorers RF Kevin Henry was 2-for-4 with an RBI on the day, recording all but one of the Sioux City hits in the losing effort.

Pensacola 7, Shreveport 0

Pensacola starting pitcher Clint Sodowsky pitched seven strong innings allowing just three hits while striking out six to record his first win of the season. The Pelicans broke the game open in the fourth inning when they scored five runs on four hits and one error, which proved more than enough. RF Juan Rocha led the Pensacola offense, going 2-for-4 with three RBI. 3B Trino Aguilar also had two hits and scored twice as well and 1B Tim Dorn pitched in a hit and two RBI. Sports CF Coby Smith was 2-for-3 at the plate and stole a base to lead the Shreveport offense. Pelicans relievers Matt Perdue and Tony Pierce threw an inning each and combined to strike out three and only allow one hit in the win.

St. Joe 8, Sioux Falls 4

St. Joe starting pitcher Dustin Kupper picked up his first win of the year after pitching five strong innings in which he allowed just one earned run and two hits. Relievers Josh Jarman and Matt Johnson combined to allow just two runs on six hits over the next four innings to seal the victory for the Blacksnakes. 2B Jake Whitesides hit his first home run of the season, going 1-for-3 with three RBIs. Sioux Falls had three players record multi-hit games, led by DH Justin Schuda who was 2-for-3 with an RBI and LF Chad Hermansen who was 2-for-5 with an RBI. Whitesides' 3-run homer came in the third inning put St. Joe ahead 5-2, a lead they would never relinquish.

El Paso 11, Coastal Bend 10

After trailing the entire game the Diablos surrendered eight runs in the ninth inning to for the game into extra innings where they scored in the tenth to escape with the win. 1B Juan Camacho and LF Jorge Alvarez led the way for El Paso, each going 4-for-5 at the plate with an RBI. CF Carlos Sepulveda was 2-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs scored. For Coastal Bend, six batters had at least two hits, led by 3B Wilson Burwell, who was 4-for-6 with two RBIs and a run scored. El Paso starting pitcher pitched seven strong innings, scattering 10 hits and two runs while striking out five, despite getting the tough-luck no-decision.
