Pensacola 11, Wichita 6

With two outs in the ninth, RF Jorge Cortes launched a grand slam for the WIngnuts in the losing effort. Pensacola pounded out 16 hits, receiving three-hit nights from CF Francisco Leandro and LF Marcos Rodriguez. Fort Worth 7, Shreveport-Bossier 4
Shreveport-Bossier pushed across two runs but left the bases loaded in a ninth-inning rally that fell short, as Fort Worth held on to beat the Captains 7-4. RHP Dwayne Pollok got the win for the Cats, as he threw seven innings and gave up just two earned runs while striking out seven. DH Jeremy Sauceda went 3-for-4 with two doubles for Fort Worth, and 2B Nick McCoola added three hits of his own from the nine hole. CF Robert Perry and 2B Antoin Gray, Grand Prairie's 1-2 punch, each had three hits and scored a combined five runs in setting the table for the heart of the order.
