C Lou Palmisano's double in the 11th inning plated 1B Adam Deleo from second base and lifted the Pensacola Pelicans to a game one victory over the Lincoln Saltdogs in the league championship series. Palmisano went 2-for-5 with a home run and two RBI while LF Adam Darby had a two-hit night with two runs scored and a run batted in. Pelicans reliever Tyler Wilson notched his first win of the postseason as he allowed a hit and a walk in an inning of work. Pensacola closer Hunter Davis collected his second save of the playoffs after tossing a 1-2-3 bottom of the 11th inning. DH Argelis Nunez led the Lincoln offense going 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored and three RBI. C Shawn McGill chipped in with two hits of his own along with a RBI for the Saltdogs. Game two is on Wednesday night with Kieran Mattison going for Pensacola while Lincoln counters with Jim Paduch.
