Alaska Aces News Release

ANCHORAGE, Alaska – The Amazing Rhythm Aces and the Anchorage Aces will cross paths on February 5th at 7 PM promoting the band's "Cabin Fever Reliever" concert tour.

The band started 25 years ago in Memphis, developing their own style of soulful music. In 1981, they struck it big with songs such as "Third Rate Romance," "Amazing Grace," and the Grammy-winning, "The End Is Not In Sight." After achieving their success as a group, the Aces' members went on to pursue separate music careers. 14 years later, the Aces' decided to reunite for a re-recording of their best music and received such a favorable response from new and old fans alike that they decided to return as a full-time band in 1997. "When we got back together, everybody brought back a different perspective that made the combination even stronger," said songwriter Russell Smith. The Rhythm Aces have two other stops in Alaska—Fairbanks (February 7) and Palmer (February 8).

Now the band has released their latest album, "Chock Full of Country Goodness" and touring the United States, Australia and Europe. The Amazing Rhythm Aces will entertain the crowd during each intermissions during the Anchorage Aces game against the Bakersfield Condors February 5th at 7 PM.
