THE TEAMS: Topeka RoadRunners @ Amarillo Bulls

WHEN: Friday, Mar. 11 & Saturday, Mar. 12 @ 7 pm

WHERE: Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center

PROMOTIONS: Friday is presented by Community Options and 806 Sports with the return of The Family-Four-Pack that consists of Four Tickets, Four Sodas and Four Hotdogs for $44 or the Bring-A-Bud Pack that has two tickets, two sodas and two hotdogs for $22. Khiva Shrivers sponsor Saturday's game and the Bulls are wearing specialty jerseys in support of that great organization. A post-game jersey auction takes place immediately after the game. Fans can take advantage of the Spring-Break Special that has $10 Red and Silver Section Tickets. It's also Player Parents Weekend with a special pre-game ceremony to take place on Saturday prior to the game.

NEED TICKETS: Purchase tickets at the Bulls Office located at 301 South Polk or by calling 242-1122. Fans can also drop by the Civic Center Box Office and all Panhandle Ticket Locations including United Supermarkets or online at www.panhandletickets.com.

GROUP TICKETS ONLINE: There is a new way for fans to purchase Group Tickets for Scheduled Groups or Perferred Rate Customers. Fans can visit www.amarillobulls.com and click on the Order Now Button.

BROADCAST OPTIONS: Both games will air live on CBS Sports Radio 1440, online at www.amarillobulls.com and on PPV with Fast Hockey, beginning with the Wayland Baptist University Warm Up Show at 6:40 pm. The puck drop with Denis J. Puska follows at 7 pm.

THE SERIES: It's the fifth and sixth meetings of the season between the Amarillo Bulls and the Topeka RoadRunners. The last time the two sides met, it was Topeka winning two tight games. The two teams will meet twice more on the 2nd to last weekend of the regular season in the state of Kansas. Forwards George Mika and Tyler Gernhofer have combined for five goals against the RoadRunners, while Jake Houston, Charlie Singerhouse and Jeff Solow each have two helpers. Ten different players have tallied for Topeka in the season series with Dominic Lutz leading the way with three goals. Luka Maver has chipped in four assists.

LOTS OF HOCKEY AHEAD: After playing one game over a nine day period the Amarillo Bulls get cracking with five games in nine days. It starts this weekend with the Bulls hosting Topeka and continues on Tuesday with a single road trip to face the Odessa Jackalopes at Ector County Coliseum. The busy stretch concludes next weekend with the Bulls visiting the Wichita Falls Wildcats.

SOUTH DIVISION PLAYOFF UPDATE: There are still many things left undecided in the South Division heading into this weekend of action. The Corpus Christi IceRays once again have a two point lead on the Odessa Jackalopes for the fourth and final playoff spot. The IceRays entertain the first-place Wichita Falls Wildcats at American Bank Center, while the Odessa Jackalopes have a date in North Richland Hills to face the Lone Star Brahmas. Odessa still has two games in hand on Corpus Christi. The Wildcats lead the Brahmas by seven points for first. The Topeka RoadRunners are third but have company coming behind them as both Odessa and Corpus Christi are 11 and 9 points back respectively.
