Amarillo Bulls News Release
AMARILLO, TX - The Lansing Capitals have been a great pipeline for the Amarillo Bulls in the past five years sending a number of talented players to the Texas Panhandle including the likes of Karl Beckman.
The Bulls hope their latest tender signing will continue on that strong tradition with the addition of Alex Rowe of the Capitals that play out of the North American Prospects Hockey League. Rowe is the younger brother of a former Bulls tender Louie Rowe. In 37 games, the East Lansing, MI native had three goals and 7 assists for 10 points and 33 penalty minutes for the 18U program.
Director of Scouting Erik Blasé said Rowe, who is 6-3 192-pounds, plays a very physical game which will be critical in the South Division.
"Alex is a big power forward who is mean, physical and plays a 200-foot game," said Blasé. "He has a lot of room to grow in his game. I think he's going to be someone that a lot of guys are going to be surprised by."
Rowe joins Bobby Kaiser, Charlie Singerhouse, Matt Nehls, Brycon Johnson and Patrick Choi as players tendered for the 2015-16 season.
A great way to watch the Amarillo Bulls is by purchasing 2015-16 Season Tickets which gives you the same seat for all home games. Prices start at $339 for Silver; $445 for Red; $515 for Glass and $589 for the Pit Section. Children 12 and under Season Tickets are just $250. For further information or to inquire about available seat locations call the Bulls Office at 806-242-1122 or visit 301 South Polk in the Amarillo Building.
