The Mudbugs were ousted in the South Division Semi-Final series two years ago by the Corpus Christi IceRays. The Amarillo Bulls are back in the South Division final for the first time since 2013-14 when they were beaten in five games by the Topeka RoadRunners. The Bulls at one stretch won three consecutive South Division playoff titles 2010-11, 2011-12 and 2012-13.
