WHEN: Tomorrow (Thursday) night 7 pm, Friday also at 7 pm

WHERE: Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center

PROMOTIONS: $1 Hotdogs and small drinks. Tailgate party prior to both games in back parking lot off of Johnston Street, starting at 5:30 pm. Free BBQ, beverages and live music. Friday there will be a whiteout in affect so show your support by wearing white.

PLAYOFF HISTORY: This is the second all-time meeting in the post season between the Amarillo Bulls and the Texas Tornado. The two teams met two years ago in the first round of the South Division Playoffs where the Bulls won 3-1. Amarillo captured the first two games on home ice, and after falling in game 3, Cody Freeman (Canisius College) vaulted the Bulls into the South Division Final with the overtime winner in Game 4.

REGULAR SEASON HISTORY: The Amarillo Bulls and the Texas Tornado met a total of 12 times during the regular season. The Bulls owned the series 10-1-1, with the Tornado gaining their only points during the first weekend in January on home ice. Six of the 12 games were decided by three goals or more, but four of the last five saw the two teams separated by two goals or less. Forward TJ Sarcona had six goals and eight assists for 14 points, while Gage Christianson had 13 points including 10 helpers. Goaltender Paul Berrafato was 9-0-1 with a 1.52 GAA and a high save percentage of .940. Forwards Justin Greenberg and Brandon Hawkins each had nine points for the Tornado. Of the 22 goals that Texas tallied 10 were netted via the power play.

PLAYOFF PRIMER: The Amarillo Bulls advanced to their third straight South Division final beating the Corpus Christi IceRays 3-1. Forward Brady Ferguson leads the Bulls with five points, while Hampus Gustafsson and defenseman John Rey each have three goals. The Texas Tornado won three straight from the Topeka RoadRunners to qualify. The Forward Scott Conway and defenseman Alexey Soloviev each have five points.
