Amarillo Bulls Director Ticketing Cody Johnson Accepts Job in Richmond, Virginia

AMARILLO, TX -- The Amarillo Bulls, 2011 NAHL South Division champions, announced that Director of Ticketing, Cody Johnson, will be leaving the Bulls organization to accept a job with the Richmond Kickers of the United Soccer League Pro-Division in Richmond, Virginia.

Johnson, a native of Council Bluffs, Iowa, joined the Bulls for their Inaugural Season last July. His new position in Richmond will include Corporate Sales and Game Day Operations.

"The position I have accepted is career advancement for me and I am excited to start on a new journey," Johnson said. "I would like to thank the Bulls organization for all they have done for me and how they have helped me become a better individual and professional. I want to thank all of the fans for a great inaugural season and for making my time in Amarillo enjoyable. The Amarillo Bulls do, and will always have, the best fans in the NAHL."

Amarillo Bulls General Manager, Chris Laurie, says the organization wishes Cody nothing but the best in his new opportunity.

"Cody has came a long way in his time with the Bulls and we are proud to see him advance to the next stage of his career," Laurie said. "As an organization, we take pride in developing people, whether it be players or staff, and advancing them on to the next level. Cody was instrumental in the launch of the Bulls and his contributions, along with his friendly demeanor, will certainly be missed. We wish Cody the best in all his future endeavors!"

It's just 59 days until the Amarillo Bulls Home Opener on Saturday, Oct. 1 at 7 pm in the Budweiser Bull Pen at the Amarillo Civic Center.
