Amarillo Bulls Announce Main Training Camp Schedule

AMARILLO, TX - Hockey season has unofficially arrived in the Texas Panhandle.

The Amarillo Bulls, proud members of the North American Hockey League, announced today (Wednesday) their Main Training Camp Schedule that will take place at the Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center.

Bulls hopefuls will hit the ice on Thursday and Friday for two sets of practices, 9 am to 10:30 am and from 10:45 am to 12:15 pm. There will be a practice in the evening, from 5 pm to 6 pm, followed by more on-ice activity from 6:15 pm to 7:30 pm.

On Saturday, there will be two more sets of practices from 11 am to 12:15 pm, and 12:30 pm to 1:45 pm. A scrimmage game will take place from 6 pm to 8 pm.

Sunday's schedule will see the team focus on specialty teams throughout most of the day.

One of the big events of the Main Camp will be the All-Star Game, from 10 am to 12 noon, on Monday.

The practices and games are open to the public for fans to come down and see the players battle for roster spots on this year's team.

In less than 30 days, the Amarillo Bulls will drop the puck for their Inaugural Season in the North American Hockey League when they hit the ice against the Texas Tornado at 7 pm at The Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center. Thursday, Aug. 26 - 9 am to 10:30 am - Practice; 10:45 am to 12:15 am - Practice; 5 pm to 6 pm - Practice; 6:15 pm to 7:45 pm.

Friday, Aug. 27 - 9 am to 10:30 am - Practice; 10:45 am to 12:15 am - Practice; 5 pm to 6 pm - Practice; 6:15 pm to 7:45 pm.

Saturday, Aug. 28 - 11 am to 12:15 pm - Practice; 12:30 pm to 1:45 pm -- Practice; 6 pm to 8 pm - Game.

Monday, Aug. 30 - 10 am to 12 noon -- Final All-Star Game.
