Aly Alberto Hassan Nets Final Team of the Week Honour this Season

OTTAWA, ON - The final NASL Team of the Week for 2015 was unveiled by the League on Wednesday morning and for the 16th time in 18 weeks of the Fall Season Fury FC was represented - this time by Aly Alberto Hassan. The Florida native who joined the club during the midseason break from the Fort Lauderdale Strikers netted a crucial goal to tie Saturday's match in Atlanta sending Fury FC to a 1-1 draw while extending their unbeaten streak to 12-matches.
With several players not making the trip to Atlanta for the regular season finale, players such as Hassan were leaned on to shoulder the responsibilities of continuing Ottawa's unbeaten ways while showing off the depth of the squad. Despite falling behind to the Silverbacks just four minutes in, Ottawa would produce a much more composed second half that saw Hassan pull the match level just after the hour mark. Fury FC finished the season with an impressive overall record of 15W-11D-4L good for 56 points - a 29 point improvement on the club's inaugural year last season.
Hassan has appeared in 12 matches since joining the club in June, starting three of the twelve matches. In fact, Hassan has scored in each of the three matches that he has started this season.
Fury FC had a member on the Team of the Week on 23 of the 29 weeks this season with 16 players earning 38 of the weekly honour.
