BOISE, ID - After a strong finish to his season in new surroundings last year, Luke Judson has agreed to terms with the ECHL's Idaho Steelheads on another season.
After the San Francisco Bulls ceased operations midway through their inaugural ECHL season, Judson was scooped up by the Steelheads and went on to score 8 goals and 10 assists in his final 25 games of the season. The team played to an 15-8-2 record with Judson in the lineup. The Steelheads are the ECHL affiliate of the Dallas Stars.
"We're fortunate to have a character person like Luke back again," said Steelheads General Manager and former Oshawa General Brad Ralph. "He's a well-rounded hockey player, one that'll be expected to take his game and our team to the next level."
A former Bulls captain of three years, Judson has made stops in Thunder Bay playing for Lakehead University as well as San Francisco since he suited up in the Friendly City. He compiled 87 goals and 80 assists in 276 OHL games, all spent in Belleville.
