AlleyCats organize Katrina relief effort

Indianapolis, IN. Rob Blackwell, Indiana AlleyCats CEO and Jane Brooks are coordinating two relief efforts on behalf of Katrina victims. Donation boxes will be at Cardinal Fitness E. 96th Street and Mollenkoff, Five Seasons Country Club, 900 E. 96th Street and The Workout Centers, 116th and Keystone just west of Marsh Plaza and 106th and Michigan Road on northeast corner next to the Hallmark Store, all in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The animal disaster wish list will be posted there; all donations are animal aid related (i.e. breakaway collars, leashes, crates, cages, bowls, muzzles, cat traps, dog traps, pole nets, animal stretchers, Ketch All Poles and Evacaks are used in every disaster relief effort. Heavy duty cat gloves and any animal first aid products as well as razors and batteries. Please, only canned dog and cat food preferable with pop top lids. These will be directed to Noah's Wish organization which aids several animal relief agencies including the Humane Society of the United States.

Jane Brook's relief effort is all small size human aid and hygenic products including bandages, syringes, latex gloves, antibacterial ointments, AB lotions, soaps, razors and small shampoos, sunscreen, etc (also if you have old eyewear sunglasses, eye glasses, please include). Jane can also accept small cleaning supplies, bleach, buckets, mops, gloves, etc. The only clothing they are accepting is receiving baby blankets and diapers). This is being coordinated through United Methodist Church. Cash donations are also accepted. Call 317 557 8199 or 317 340 5667.

Please separate animal items and people items as they will be going in two separate shipments. Monetary donations can be made to Noah's Wish or HSUS Humane Society.
