Allen Wranglers Announce Final Player Tryouts

ALLEN, TX: The Allen Wranglers have announced their last and final player tryouts for their 2012 season. Tryouts are to be held Saturday, February 4th at Lovejoy High School located at 2350 Estates Parkway, in Allen, Texas from 12-4 pm.
Tryout registration can be done by calling the Wrangler office at 972-912-3131, and it will be a $50 fee, with an additional $15 fee the day of tryouts. Athletes looking to tryout, should wear workout gear, and bring a pair of cleats, as well as be prepared to do the following drills: 40 yard dash, short shuttle, broad jump, individual drills, group drills, and team drills. Kickers interested in trying out for the team will have individual drills as well.
The Wranglers are looking to bring in local players for their 2012 training camp. Head Coach Patrick Pimmel states, "We are always trying to get better with local players. This is going to be a season to remember, and I'm extremely excited about it all."
The Allen Wranglers season runs from February through June, culminating with the United Bowl Championship in July. All home games start at 7:05 p.m. and will be at the Allen Event Center. The Wranglers are members of the Indoor Football League, America's premier indoor league.
