Tulsa Oilers News Release

Fans who want an interesting perspective on the Stanley Cup final should be sure to watch game one Wednesday night June 1st at Buffalo Wild Wings in Broken Arrow.

Tulsa Oilers general manager Taylor Hall played for both the Vancouver Canucks and the Boston Bruins. Hall was the Oilers player assistant coach when they won the Central Hockey League championship in 1993. He is also a former teammate of Boston coach Claude Julien when the two played together for the Fredericton Express of the American Hockey League in 1985-86, and 86-87.

‚¬Å“It ‚¬â„¢s fun for me to have these two teams in the final, and I know our fans always have a fun time at our watch parties, ‚¬Â Hall said. ‚¬Å“They always start asking about them at the end of our season, and with the year we had, the watch parties should be even more fun. ‚¬Â

Hall, coach Bruce Ramsay and other Oiler personnel, will be on hand for the watch parties. The game one watch party will take place at the Buffalo Wild Wings located at the Broken Arrow Expressway and Kenosha (71st) Street. All games for the Stanley Cup final begin at 7 p.m.

Season tickets for the Oilers 20th season in the Central Hockey League are now on sale. More information is available by calling the Oilers office at 918-632-PUCK (7825).
