Albany Patroons News Release

The Albany Patroons ticket sales have swelled to 250 for this coming season. A goal of 1,000 season ticket sales has been set in order to keep the Patroons in Albany. Should they reach between 600-800 by the end of August, there could be a good chance the Patroons could play in Albany for another season.

Patroons season tickets are the most affordable in town. The buy two, get two free campaign has been readily accepted with enthusiasm.

Below are some examples:

Courtside seating: $540 x 2 = $1080 / 4 = $270 on average per ticket

Reserved seating: $180 x 2 = $360 / 4 = $90 on average per ticket

General seating: $54 x 2 = $108 / 4 = $27 on average per ticket

In a related matter, Jim Coyne is having on-going conversations with Paul Woolpert as a potential coach should the Patroons remain in Albany. Woolpert has won three CBA Championships with the Yakama Sun Kings. Woolpert's father coached the University of San Francisco to two NCAA Championships with Bill Russell and KC Jones.

Jim Coyne stated, "If the Patroons remain in Albany, we want to assure our fans of a quality pro team with an excellent coach with the capability of bringing another CBA Championship to Albany."
