Albany FireWolves Partner with Dave & Buster's - Albany for High School Student-Athlete of the Week Campaign

Albany, NY - The Albany FireWolves of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) today announced Dave & Buster's - Albany as the presenting sponsor of the inaugural FireWolves High School Student-Athlete of the Week Campaign. This partnership will highlight boys and girls high school lacrosse players in the Capital Region who are making a difference on and off the field. Selected student-athletes will be honored at FireWolves home games and receive prize packs featuring both Dave & Buster's - Albany and Albany FireWolves merchandise, offers, and tickets. The first selections will be made on March 11, 2024.

"We are thrilled to team up with Dave & Buster's - Albany and bring the Albany FireWolves High School Student-Athlete of the Week to life," said Phil Bardsley, Director of Corporate Partnerships for the Albany FireWolves. "This great partnership will recognize high school all-stars throughout our community. These all-stars will be highlighted for their impressive accomplishments in the classroom, contributions on the field, and their impact in the community."

The Albany FireWolves are currently in their third NLL season playing in the Capital Region and have made it a priority to increase their outreach to the local lacrosse community. A total of twenty-four boys and girls high school lacrosse players will be chosen during the twelve-week campaign and featured on the FireWolves website, social media pages, and on the jumbotron at home games. Players from Varsity, JV, or Freshman levels can be selected, and the selection process will allow both players who stand out on the field and those who are standing out in the classroom a chance to be recognized.

The first selections for the Albany FireWolves High School Student-Athlete of the Week will be announced on March 11, 2024.
