GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas -- Ever dreamed of singing the Star-Spangled Banner before a baseball game, or God Bless America during the seventh-inning stretch? Well now is your chance to make that dream a reality.

The Grand Prairie AirHogs will be holding auditions for both songs on Saturday, April 21, at 10 a.m. at QuikTrip Park. Singers of all ages are welcome to try out. Those judged to be worthy of the honor will get to sing at an AirHogs game (or more) during the 2012 season.

In addition, the AirHogs are extending their offer of seven tickets for Jerseys/Shirts off our Backs Nights in 2012 for just $35 until the end of Monday, April 2.

The 2011 American Association Champion Grand Prairie AirHogs begin the defense of their title on Thursday, May 17, against the Laredo Lemurs. The 2012 home opener is Monday, May 21, at 7:05 p.m. against the El Paso Diablos. Check back at the team's official Web site www.airhogsbaseball.com for any other off-season news as develops.
