GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas -- The Grand Prairie AirHogs unveiled their full 2012 schedule Tuesday, with a 100-game slate that features a variety of new destinations during the 50 games the defending American Association champions will play away from QuikTrip Park.

The season begins with a four-game set at the brand new Uni-Trade Stadium in Laredo to take on former AirHogs manager Pete Incaviglia and the new Laredo Lemurs club. After a six-game homestand against El Paso and Kansas City, the AirHogs go right back on the road to Sioux City and Wichita - the first matchup of the year between the 'Hogs and Wingnuts, who faced off in the Divisional Series last season.

Grand Prairie then hosts Laredo from June 4-6, before making their first visit of the year to Cohen Stadium in El Paso for a four-game series. Laredo comes to town again for three games June 11-13, and then the AirHogs get their first taste of interleague play, welcoming in the Newark Bears of the Can-Am League for three from June 14-16.

Interleague play then continues with a long trip to the east coast, which will see the AirHogs play 10 games in Can-Am League parks. First up is the second-year Rockland Boulders in Pomona, N.Y. for four games, before three games against the New Jersey Jackals (in Little Falls, N.J.) and three against the Worcester (Mass.) Tornadoes.

The AirHogs return home for an eight-game stand at QuikTrip Park from June 29-July 6 against Amarillo and Wichita, with an Independence Day celebration planned, before heading out on another long, 11-game road trip.

After four games in Laredo, Grand Prairie will trek up to Fargo, N.D., to take on the RedHawks for the first time in club history. They then head to St. Paul, Minn., for a Championship Series rematch against the St. Paul Saints.

The next 13 games are against the same two opponents, with a seven-game homestand against Kansas City and El Paso before a six-game roadtrip to Kansas and southwest Texas.

The final 29 games of the season will be busy at QuikTrip Park, with the AirHogs hosting Laredo, Sioux City, El Paso, Fargo-Moorhead, Sioux Falls and Amarillo for a combined 20 games, with three three-game road trips during that span, visiting Laredo (once) and Amarillo (twice).
