AIFL's Canton Franchise To Hold Open Tryout February 13

The new Canton (OH) franchise of the Atlantic Indoor Football League have announced they will hold an open player tryout Sunday, February 13 at the Canton Memorial Civic Center, located at 1101 Market Avenue North.
The cost for the tryout is $65 and payable by cash or money order. Checks will not be accepted.
The tryout will take place on AstroTurf.
Canton's Head Coach, Jay Brophy, said he is looking to sign players who either live in the Canton area or are willing to relocate there.
"This area is full of good local talent who need a place to make their mark in their sport and we want this team to be a Canton team of Canton players. This is not just an AIFL team. This is Canton's team," said Brophy.
"Jay has told me and I have seen for myself just how excited Canton is about being part of our league," said AIFL President Andrew Haines. "The response to us (the league) coming here has been nothing sort of amazing."
Players who are interested in pre-registering for the event by sending their name, address, phone number, position, experience and registration fee to AIFL Canton, 1101 Market Avenue North, Canton, OH 44702.
The Atlantic Indoor Football League is the hottest new professional football league and will kickoff its inaugural season April 1, 2005.
