Carolina Ghostriders News Release
Canton OH - American Indoor Football League President Andrew G. Haines said Friday that the relocation of the Ghostriders, a traveling team in the league's inaugural season, is near finalization.
"We will be making an announcement very, very soon and will be scheduling a press conference,'' Haines said. "If I learned anything from the 2005, it's avoid traveling teams at all costs. We're dedicated to having solid operations in all our cities in 2006.
The Ghostriders, one of two traveling teams last year, suffered through a winless campaign and a first-round playoff loss.
