
AIFL Riverhawks Supporting Area Youth

The Johnstown Riverhawks of the Atlantic Indoor Football League have announced that they will donate $1.00 per ticket sold for their upcoming game against the Raleigh Rebels to Maxwell Orr of Richland. The game will be played this Friday at War Memorial Arena kickoff is set for 7:05 p.m.
Maxwell is a six year old who was born with Cerebral Palsy. He must undergo experimental treatment not covered by insurance. These treatments cost $50 per hour and Maxwell must endure 400 hours. "If Johnstown will support our effort, we can raise about 20% of his treatment expense," said Brian Schwelling team owner, "This is an important effort for us," he continued.
Other events taking place at the arena will include: Chamber Night - The Greater Johnstown Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a mixer at the Holiday Inn downtown.
Thunder In The Valley Kickoff - The Riverhawks will sponsor a motorcycle contest before the game and a trophy will be awarded. Enrty fee is $7.00 and the Riverhawks will donate $1 for each entry to Maxwell Orr.
Ken Lantzy Kickoff - The Riverhawks will honor the football players participating in the Ken Lantzy All-Star game at half-time. Present your Ken Lantzy ticket and receive $2 off the price of your Riverhawks ticket.
