
AHL announces suspension

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. ... The American Hockey League today announced that Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins forward Ryan Stone has been suspended for one (1) game as a result of his actions during an AHL playoff game vs. Hershey on May 9.
Stone received a major for boarding and a game misconduct in the second period of the game. He was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 29.1 (supplementary discipline).
Stone will miss Game 5 of the East Division Final series between the teams on Friday (May 11) in Hershey.
