Aftershock get leadership by adding Jason Braxton
October 28, 2005 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Los Angeles Aftershock News Release
Los Angeles, CA. ABA Los Angeles Aftershock Head Coach Andre Smith announced that Jason Braxton has agreed to terms with the team. Smith said, "Jason is quite simply the prototyhpical big time point guard and we are luck to have a natural leader on the team."
Braxton, a 6'2" point guard, played at Arizona State University, where he started 102 games for the Sun Devils. The 102 games as a starter was the third most in ASU history. Braxton set ASU records in steals, was fifth all-time in assists, and sixth all time with 120 games played in his career. Jason also led the Pac-10 in assists/turnover ratio as a senior when he led the Sun Devils to the third postseason appearance in four years.
Smith added, "Jason is long and physically tough defensively so we have more options in how we defend other teams." For more information about the Los Angeles Aftershock, visit www.laaftershock.com or email laaftershock@aol.com or visit www.abalive.com. -
