Aftershock get explosive, sign Dion Bailey

November 1, 2005 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Southern California Surf News Release

Head Basketball Coach Andre Smith remembers "Slamball" and the best gunner available, 6'3 guard Dion Bailey. Bailey agreed to terms with the Los Angeles Aftershock, and adds depth and versatility to an already deep Aftershock team.

The former Utah State Aggie star will suit up for the Aftershock this Saturday night as the Aftershock take on the Orange County Buzz at LA College Southwest at 7 o'clock. Smith stated that "Dion gives us a pure defensive stopper at the 1, 2 or 3 positions, and as you saw in SLAMBALL, he can flat out explode to the basket while being the best shooter in that league."

For more information on the Aftershock, visit www.laaftershock.com or call (714) 470-1122. All Aftershock games can be heard on the web at the teams website with pre-game shows beginning 30 minutes before game time with Head Coach Andre Smith.

Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
