ABA Los Angeles Aftershock announce "One Thousand Smiles" Program

Aftershock President Shawn Blattenberger and Head Coach Andre Smith proudly announce a team initiative to allow all basketball fans under the age of 12 to attend all LA Aftershock home games for free this season. Blattenberger announces "that as a basketball fan, the access to professional basketball in Southern California is pricey at best, and I wanted to make sure that we don't lose prospective young fans due to lack of accessibility." The program is also tied into the "JUNIOR SHOCKER CLUB," in which the Aftershock team with Farmers Home Insurance to allow parents that register their kids under the Child Registration Program to become members of the Junior Shocker Club, which includes free passes to games, T-shirts plus ABA Basketballs and more.
Coach Smith stated "..We wanted to make sure that we had some positive impact on the community, and if kids are here at our games watching free high energy professional basketball, there isn't much room for getting into trouble." Smith also added "we want to thank Farmers Insurance and Pit Bull Energy Drink for making this happen for the kids in our area, and I am sure that local parents feel the same way about being able to have family outings at our games and not having to mortgage the house to do so."
The first registration for the Child Identity Program and the JUNIOR SHOCKERS CLUB will be Saturday, November 5, when the Los Angeles Aftershock take on the Orange County Buzz at LA COLLEGE SOUTHWEST at 7 o'clock. Registration begins at 6 and the first 1000 kids that are registered by parents for the program will get T-shirts and club membership cards for discounted merchandise and more.
