AFL teams active in free agent market

NEW YORK â The Arena Football League free-agent signing period began October 1, 2004. This year, 243 free agents were eligible to be signed by one of the AFL's 17 teams, which including the expansion Nashville Kats.
Early movement highlights include the Philadelphia Soul landing First-Team All-Arena QB TONY GRAZIANI (Los Angeles), Grand Rapids Rampage signing former Offensive Player of the Year CHRIS JACKSON (Los Angeles) and the Las Vegas Gladiators signing former Ironman of the Year DAMEON PORTER (Austin). Thus far, 65 players have signed with new teams and 22 have re-signed with their old team.
Players listed are AFL free agents, meaning they are players whose contracts expired after the 2004 season, as opposed to "off-the-street" free agents.
