NEW YORK – Georgia Force wide receiver/linebacker CHRIS JACKSON, Chicago Rush quarterback RAYMOND PHILYAW and Las Vegas Gladiators defensive specialist CORNELIUS BONNER have been named U.S. Army Ironman, Offensive Player and ADT Defensive Player of the Week, respectively, for Week 11 of the 2005 season. The announcement was made live on ESPNews this afternoon.

U.S. ARMY IRONMAN: Jackson (6-2, 220, Washington State), who is in his sixth season, led the AFLWA's No. 2 Georgia Force (8-3) over the Austin Wranglers (4-7) in Saturday's 56-53 Southern Division victory. On offense, the former Offensive Player of the Year had 13 receptions for 133 yards and two receiving touchdowns, while adding a seven-yard rushing touchdown. On special teams, he had two returns for 73 yards – including a 57-yard kickoff return for a touchdown. Defensively, he tallied 2.0 total tackles. This marks the seventh time that the former Cougar has earned an AFL weekly honor.

OFFENSIVE: Philyaw (6-1, 200, Louisiana-Monroe) led the Chicago Rush (6-4) over the defending champion San Jose SaberCats (6-4) in Sunday's 55-39 victory at Allstate Arena. He completed 27-of-35 (77.1%) passes for 264 yards, six touchdowns and one interception, while adding a rushing touchdown late in the third quarter to maintain the lead. Philyaw had scoring strikes to three different receivers – including three to WR/DB JEREMY MC DANIEL – as the Rush ended the SaberCats five-game winning streak. This marks the second time he has earned an AFL weekly honor.

ADT DEFENSIVE: Bonner (6-0, 190, Cincinnati) helped lead the Las Vegas Gladiators (6-5) to a 56-28 victory over the Grand Rapids Rampage (1-9) on Friday at the Thomas & Mack Center. The fifth-year veteran recorded 9.5 total tackles, two pass breakups and returned an interception 55 yards for a touchdown during the second quarter. This marks the second time the former BearCat has earned an AFL weekly honor.

U.S. Army Ironman of the Week candidates included: Arizona's Jerald Brown, Chicago's Bob McMillen, Colorado's Kevin McKenzie, Dallas' Will Pettis, Las Vegas' Coco Blalock, Los Angeles' Kevin Ingram and Tampa Bay's Lawrence Samuels.

Offensive Player of the Week candidates included: Arizona's Joe Germaine, Colorado's John Dutton, Georgia's Matt Nagy, Las Vegas' Clint Dolezel, Los Angeles' Tony Locke, Nashville's T.T. Toliver and Orlando's Jimmy Fryzel.

ADT Defensive Player of the Week candidates included: Arizona's Terrence Joseph, Chicago's Etu Molden and John Moyer, Colorado's Rashad Floyd, Dallas ' Jermaine Jones, Los Angeles' Silas Demary and Tampa Bay's Jonathan Ordway.
