AFL Names All-Ironman Team

NEW YORK – The San Jose SaberCats, who have secured the top seed in the Drive to ArenaBowl XVII, Indiana Firebirds and Tampa Bay Storm led all AFL teams with two selections each to the 2003 All-Ironman team. The Arizona Rattlers, Chicago Rush, Dallas Desperados, Georgia Force, Los Angeles Avengers and Tampa Bay Storm were each represented with one selection.

San Jose players selected include: WR/DB JAMES ROE and DS/KR CLEVAN THOMAS. Indiana players selected include: FB/LB RICH YOUNG and WR/DB EVAN HLAVACEK. Tampa Bay players selected include: OL/DL B.J. COHEN and WR/LB LAWRENCE SAMUELS.

The Ironman of the Year will be announced on Wednesday, June 4, while the next award to be announced will be Kicker of the Year on Monday, May 26. Following is the complete list of the 2003 All-Ironman team:
