August 30, 2010 - Arena Football League (AFL)
Tulsa Talons News Release

The 2011 Arena Football League regular season has been extended by two games Commissioner Jerry Kurz announced today. The change was passed in ownership meetings last week in Phoenix, AZ.

"There has never been a better time for the Arena Football League," said Commissioner Kurz. "The product is exciting, our economic model is sound and fans are demanding affordable family entertainment. Extending our season is a great decision, both from a business and fan perspective."

The AFL has grown from 15 teams to 19 teams for the 2011 season with the additions of Kansas City, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and San Jose. All four markets have had AFL teams in the past.

Talons season tickets are now on sale for the 2011 season starting as low as $90. Contact the Talons office at 294-1000 for more information.
