ALBANY, NY. - The Arena Football League today announced Adrian Trevino, kicker of the Albany Empire, won the Kicker of the Year honors for the 2019 season. Trevino also earned First Team All-Arena honors this season. This is Trevino's second Kicker of the Year award.
Playing in all 12 games this season, Trevino finished the season with 80 of 83 extra point attempts completed (96.4%). Trevino owns a career 91.9 extra point percentage, which ranks sixth all-time in the League.
Trevino completed 10 of 10 extra-point attempts on July 20 (Week 13) against the Philadelphia Soul, which ranked tied for the single-game high (also Mark Lewis, 6/29). Trevino's 10 points tied his single-game career high (also 2017, 2015).
The six-year veteran also played for the Philadelphia Soul (2017-2018), the Cleveland Gladiators (2016, 2015), and the Utah Blaze (2013).
