af2 caps off 200y with "Best" team awards

CHICAGO - The arenafootball2 league (af2) put the finishing touch on its 2007 season by handing out 11 special awards, which recognize some of the outstanding work done by its member teams in various promotional categories. Notable honorees include the expansion Mahoning Valley Thunder, who won for Best Publication, Best Field and Best Compliance Officer (Jeff Vrable) and "Deizel" of the Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz, who won Best Mascot. The Alabama Showsteelers (official dance team of the Alabama Steeldogs) also won Best Dance Team for the sixth straight season. The top finishers in each category are highlighted below:
