CHICAGO - The arenafootball2 league (af2) announced today that it has teamed up with OurSports Central Radio on a brand new online radio show, "Off the Net." The show, to be broadcast on a weekly basis, promises to bring af2 fans even closer to their favorite game with in-depth news, interesting interviews and fun feature stories.

"Off the Net," known to be the first internet radio show devoted solely to arenafootball2, will air for the first time this Thursday, April 6. This week's show features special interviews with Memphis Xplorers Head Coach Danton Barto, Spokane Shock managing operator Brady Nelson and af2 President Jerry Kurz.

"Off the Net" will air Thursdays on OurSports Central Radio. Fans can link up to the show through the following Internet address: http://www.oursportscentral.com/services/oscradio/oscradio.php?showid=4.

"I'm excited to bring this new show to our fans," af2 President Jerry Kurz said. "Thanks to OurSports Central Radio, inside access to our league is now just a click of the mouse away."

Each week fans will stay entertained and informed with new content and interviews with players, coaches and even league officials. The show will air throughout the regular season and will continue all the way until an ArenaCup Champion is crowned in late August.

Veteran broadcaster Dean Jackson will serve as host of "Off the Net." Jackson, who hosts OurSports Central Radio, has experience in high school, college and professional sports. His broadcasting credits include work with basketball for IPFW, an NCAA D1 team, and high school football. His Indiana high school football program, Road to the Dome, is heard on more than 20 radio stations around the state.
